Dear Family,
It was so good to see you on Wednesday. I am glad that you had a wonderful Christmas. It was a good Christmas here as well. Just really hot! It is really weird to have hot weather for Christmas, but you know, this is Chile.
This week was awesome. We were going around with one of the youth in our Ward, and at one time he told us that he felt like we should go down a certain street. So we did. When we were looking for a house down there, we found this man. He was looking at us strangely, like he had know us for a lot of time. So we said "Hola". He said, " Hola Elderes". As we talked to him, we found that he had been a member for about 30 years, but was less active for 25 years. He told us that the other day he passed by the church, and said to himself that he should enter, but he didn't. Then 2-3 days later, he thought about when the missionaries helped him build his house, and how he missed going to church. We asked him if he remembered what a family home evening was, and he said "yes". So we are now going to have a FHE with him this week, and with his Family. WOOT! Wish us luck!
I am very happy for a family that loves and supports me. Time has flown by really fast here. I know that this is the true church and that God loves us. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and another testament of Christ,
and we can learn a lot from it.
